Eric David King Eric David King was born to David Lee King and Donna Leigh Flores on May 28th 1989 in Honolulu, HI. He passed away on December 4th 2013 in Columbus, TX. He grew up in Visalia, CA surrounded by his loved ones. Survived by all of David Lee King's family and survived by Joe Gaggos who cherished his stepson, Eric considered him as a father figure, his beloved sister Yvonne Susan King is devastated by the loss of her only brother and sibling. Eric meant the world to her and she is trying to find healing and closure with her loss, their bond can never be matched, he was a wonderful brother and they loved each other above all else. Eric will be greatly missed by Grandfather, Simon D. Flores and Grandmother, Edith Y. Flores, Aunts, Julia F. Flores and Cindy A. Flores; cousins, Christopher Portillo, Lisa Jennifer and Stephanie Villacana, Heather Thompson and Scott Thompson, Nicholas and Jessica Onofre. Eric David King grew up in Visalia, CA and moved to Sealy, Texas in October 2004. Where he graduated from Sealy High School on May 25th 2007. Eric then enlisted in the United Sates Army he completed his basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky in 3-81 AR, 194th ATB. He then went to Fort Benning, Georgia where Eric completed Airborne Training. He was stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX when he was deployed to Iraq from June 2008 to May 2009. His second and final tour of duty of Afghanistan from July 8th 2010 to the end of June 2011. Eric also joined the National Guard where he served a year in the Airborne Division in Austin, TX. Eric attended Blinn College out of Sealy, TX. Those who knew and loved him knew Eric loved life and lived life to the fullest and he would want us to celebrate his life and share the wonderful memories Eric gave us to remember that love of life. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Visalia District Cemetery.
