Harold (Hal) Everet Burke September 3, 1931 - February 4, 2013 Resident of Campbell, California and born in Visalia, California, Harold Everet Burke entered into rest with his daughters, Elaine and Yvonne, at his side on February 4, 2013. Harold will be remembered as a loving and caring father and grandfather. Harold served in the Navy during the Korean War. After his discharge he attended Junior College and graduated with an AA degree in business & fire fighting. He started his career as the first paid firefighter in Morgan Hill and worked his way up to Fire Captain. He loved to travel, watch sports especially baseball and football, work in the garden, listen to classical Italian music, and exercise. His favorite place in the world was New Zealand. Harold is survived by his daughters Elaine Shaffer and Yvonne Melicker and grandchildren Kiley Melicker, Ryan Melicker and Jackie Stahlberger. Harold had nine siblings. He is predeceased by his brothers Wally, Earl and Vernon and sister Evelyn Coburn. He is survived by his brothers Paul, Charles and sisters Barbara Martin, Annie Hale and Vernadine Johnston. Memories of his life will never fade from our hearts and minds.
