Kenneth Edwin Kleppe Kenneth Edwin Kleppe, 82 of Visalia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday; July 1st, 2014. He was born in Baudette Minnesota on October 24th, 1931. He later moved to California and graduated from Woodlake High School, attended COS for two years and completed one semester at Fresno State University before enlisting in the United States Air Force. He completed his four years in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict in San Antonio, Texas. During his last year of service he married his hometown sweetheart, the late, Patricia Anderson Kleppe. They were happily married for 52 years. Ken began his careers in life with Prudential Life Insurance Company, then as a driver for Borden's Milk Company and finally 38 years as a route driver for Oroweat Bread Company. After retiring he worked part time for Magic Touch Trailer Sales. Ken was a devoted husband and family man. He was involved with his kids, grand kids and great grandchild. He loved having family parties at his home. In his younger years he loved to go deer hunting, fishing and even deep sea fishing. Every year he enjoyed family vacations. Later in life he loved traveling all over the country with his Bible Breakfast group. He faithfully attended Gateway Church for many years. Ken loved staying at Pismo Coast Village, playing Train with his bowling friends and bowling everyday and competing once a week until two months ago when he suddenly started having health issues. Kenneth is survived by his two children, Keith Kleppe and his wife Deborah, Melissa (Missy) Buenafe and her husband John. His grandchildren Michael Kleppe and Sara, Daniel Kleppe, Anne Baker, Andrew Buenafe and his wife Bre, Alyssa Collins and her husband Jeremy, his great grandchild Kymber Buenafe and his sister Karen Martin, along with many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at Gateway Church, 1100 S. Sowell St., Visalia on Saturday, July 12th at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to: Gideon's International, P.O. Box 3493, Visalia, CA 93278.
