Kenneth Hodson Kenneth David Hodson, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013. He was born on February 22, 1922 in Yale, Oklahoma to Isaac and Gladys Hodson. Kenneth served in the Army during World War II and returned home to raise a family and to farm. He raised, bred, and showed champion appaloosas. He was a member of Cen Cal Appaloosa Horse Club and spent time as a 4-H Leader. He was also a member of the Goshen Mounted Police. His retirement years were spent hunting, fishing, traveling, and spoiling his grandkids. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Lurene. He is survived by his companion, Christeen Davis, his brothers Duaine and Robert Hodson, sisters Ione Hayes, Helen Roark, and Myrna Gray, son Kenneth Hodson and wife Susie, daughter Sue Ridgeway and husband Brent, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel located at 132 W. Kern Ave., Tulare, California. A graveside service will be held at the Tulare Cemetery located at 900 East Kern Ave. at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2013. Remembrances can be made to Optimal Hospice Care, 2439 W. Whitendale Ave., Suite B, Visalia, CA 93277.
