Marion O. Howard Marion O. Howard was born in Pixley, Ca on June 1, 1931 and went to be with the Lord May 1, 2014. He was proceeded in death by his father Merle, mother May and brother Eldon. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Janet, 3 step-children and spouses, 4 step-grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Marion attended Pixley Elementery School and Delano High School. Upon graduation he enlisted into the Air Force where he served 4 years. Following his service he rejoined his family in Pixley where he farmed and ran the cattle operation. Marion began selling real estate in 1982. Marion enjoyed helping the kids with 4-H projects and coaching Pixley Little League. He was also a member of the Pixley Lions Club and Tulare Elks. Cow-penning and working cattle with his horses was a hobby of his which provide many fond memories for his children and grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and also enjoyed woodworking, making projects for his grandchildren. Throughout the children's childhoods they enjoyed fishing, hunting & camping as a family. These lasting memories continued throughout the grandchildren's lives as well. Marion & Janet enjoyed traveling together to Jamaica, Canada, Europe and many other amazing destinations. Marion will be deeply missed by all of his family. His hard work ethics will forever be instilled in the memories of his step children and step grandchildren. Due to the division of the families there will be a separate service and celebration of life on May 31, 2014 at 4pm for friends and family at the Tulare Heritage Center Social Hall.
