BETH ANN WILSOIN VIGÉ (Age 47)
Died suddenly at home on Saturday, March 29, 2014. An elementary school teacher
for 27 years, Mrs. Vigé spent her entire teaching career within Montgomery County Public Schools at Poolesville Elementary, Oakland Terrace Elementary and at Wood Acres Elementary where she taught until her death. A native of Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Vigé graduated from Maumee Valley Country Day School, earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University
and her Master of Science Degree in Education from Johns Hopkins School of Education. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Mark Edward Vigé, and their son, Andrew Robert Vigé. She also leaves a brother, Christopher Wilson of Toledo, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Forest E. Wilson and her sister, Sarah M. Strasbourg, also of Toledo. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4 at Pumphrey Funeral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A private inurnment will be held on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation or Reading Is Fundamental.
