Of Alexandria, VA passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. She was born June 26, 1957 in Tonawanda, NY and grew up in Monroeville, PA. Mrs. Dorris was a graduate of Penn State University and she received her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. She spent the majority of her career advocating for victims' law. She also was actively involved in her community and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Fekete. She is survived by her husband, Greg Dorris; children, Luke Dorris, Amanda Dorris, and Courtland Dorris; mother, Nancy Fekete; sister, Karen Frye and husband Barry; niece, Jordan Frye Greene; nephew, Brett Frye and wife Trinity; and great-niece, Harper Greene. Carol will have a memorial service on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2911 Cameron Mills Rd., Alexandria, VA 22302, (703) 549-5500.
