On Monday, February 24, 2014, of Frederick, Maryland formerly of Laurel, Maryland; retired NASA electrical engineer; beloved husband of the late Liberty Bunn Uvaas; father of Janet Uvaas Hagan of Brunswick, Maryland and Jennifer Uvaas Leake (Charles) of Corryton, Tennessee; step father of Judith Wilson Harrell and Jeff B. Wilson Jr. (Joann) of Virginia; grandfather of Angela Hagan Lakin (Tommy); April Hagan Poole (Carl), Amber Hagan, and Amanda Hagan all of Maryland; Charles "David" Leake (Tabitha) of Tennessee; John Wilson and Jason Wilson (Belinda) of Virginia; great-grandfather of Katelyn, Jenna, Ryan, Cash, Carlee, Colton and Lilith all of Maryland; brother of Juanita Pierce (Robert) of California and the late Lorraine Uvaas Deal of California. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 28, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014.
