Former veteran of the US Navy during World WarI and was the last surviving female veteran of that war, Member of American Legion Jacob Jones Post 2 in Washington, DC, National Yeoman (F), and National Association of Federal Employees. Beloved wife of the late John Russell Winters. Friends may call at BAST FUNERAL HOME, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services 10 a.m. Friday at All Saints Episcopal Church in Frederick, MD. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick.
