'EINKE DENNIS STANLEY REINKE Navy Master Chief Petty Officer Dennis Stanley Reinke, a 26-year Navy veteran who retired in 1987 as a Journalist Master Chief Petty Officer, died March 10, 2013, at Potomac Center, Arlington, VA. He was 71. Cause of death was cardio pulmonary arrest resulting from chronic lung disease. Mr. Reinke was born in Worthing, SD and grew up in Hill City, SD. He was graduated from Hill City High School in 1960 and attended the South Dakota School of Mines until he enlisted in the United States Navy in 1961. His Navy career included two tours of duty in Vietnam. After his retirement in 1987, he worked 12 years as an Operations Research Specialist in the Department of Defense, Offices of the Joint Staff, Directorate of Information Management. Mr. Reinke was a resident of Arlington. He was a member of the Little White Church in Hill city, SD and regularly attended Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, VA until he became home bound. He also was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and Naval Order of the United States. Survivors include Sharon, his wife of 43 years, of Arlington, VA; a sister, Sharon (Bill) Paschke, of Williston, ND; nephew, Rodney (Julie) Paschke of Jordan, MT; niece, Karla (Jay) Paschke of Murray, IA; a grand-nephew and two nieces. He will be inurned with Full Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rolling Thunder Charities, P.O.
