Korean War Air Force veteran. Born September 17, 1931 to George H., Sr. and Blanche (Alestock) Anderson passed away peacefully on October 16, 2013. Beloved husband to the late Margaret (Burrell) Anderson; father of Jacquelyn Coleman, Judith Campbell and Kenneth Anderson; grandfather of Nicholas Anderson, Joseph Jackson and Myles Campbell; brother of Joan Ryberg, Gary Anderson and Jerry Anderson. He was preceded into eternal life by his brother, George Jr. and sister, Peggy Jackson, and is survived by numerous loving relatives and friends. Services Friday, October 25, 2013 at Greenbrier Baptist Church, 5401 7th Road South, Arlington, VA, viewing, 10 a.m.; services to follow at 11 a.m. Services entrusted to W.H. Bacon Funeral Home of Washington, with interment at Quantico National Cemetery.
