Dr. JAMES G. MARTIN(Age 84)  

Dr. James G. Martin, of College Park, MD, passed away on October 24, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; his sons, Thomas, Michael and William, and six grandchildren, Kellie, Lauren, Hannah, Jordan, Sophie and George. He is also survived by a brother, Thomas, and many relatives and friends. He received his PhD in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1960. He was a Fellow of the American Psychological Society and a Member of the Acoustical Society of America. Dr. Martin served as an officer in the Korean War. For over thirty years, Dr. Martin was a Professor of Psychology at the University of Maryland. During his career, Dr. Martin played his saxophone and clarinet in many symphonic and jazz orchestras.
