JANE VOELCKER DeLONG  
1922 - 2014  

Jane Voelcker DeLong, 91, a native of Wichita Falls, Texas, and resident of Atlanta, Ga., died of natural causes in Atlanta on April 5, 2014. Mrs. DeLong moved to Washington, D.C. in 1946 and lived in the area most of her life. She was a records coordinator for United Nuclear Corp. until her retirement. She was a charter organizer of the Westmoreland Hills garden club in the 1950s, a Republican Party precinct chairman in Montgomery County in the 1960s, and a member of the Toastmistress Club. In her leisure time she enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing, and volunteer work. Mrs. DeLong was a graduate of the University of Texas. She was married to Allen Rhodes DeLong. The marriage ended in divorce. She is survived by two children, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be private, with burial in Houston, Texas.
