On Wednesday, September 11, 2013, Dr. Margaret Reba Stevens O'Neill of Chevy Chase MD. Beloved wife of nearly 23 years to Michael Edmund O'Neill; cherished mother of Luke Charles Patrick O'Neill; beloved daughter of Drs. Charles F. and Jane Stevens; loving sister of Alexandra (Sean) Thomas and Katherine Stevens; dear daughter in law of Joyce and the late John Patrick O'Neill, Sr.
Meg was born in Seattle, WA, and raised in Seattle and New Haven, CT, where she graduated from Hamden High School. She then attended Harvard University where she received her BA with honors, and Yale University Medical School. Meg trained in internal medicine and dermatology at The John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She has practiced medicine in the greater Washington, DC area since 1996, opening her own office in Chevy Chase, MD in 2002. Meg loved cooking, film, her faith, but most of all her family.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 5460 Western Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. Please make memorial donations in her name to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund, The Lupus Foundation of America or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
