Of Moncton, Canada with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, August 24, 2014. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Florence (Girouard) Cail of Moncton. Marie worked at Tim Horton's at The Moncton Hospital and attended St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and will be remembered dearly for her amazing baking, quilting. Marie enjoyed her time spent at the cottage in Brown's Yard and spending time with her loving family as well as her K9 companions "Mork" and "Mindy".
In addition to her parents, Marie will be missed by her sons, Stephen James Defina (Stephanie) of Toronto, ON and Paul Joseph Defina (Jennifer) of Boston, MA; sisters, Marilyn Norton-Lewis of Moncton and Debbie Parker of Port Elgin; brother, James K. Cail (Dale) of West Groton, MA. Marie was predeceased by an infant brother, Gregory James (1951) and an infant son, Robert Paul Defina.
Visitation will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Charles Broderick officiating. Reception following the Service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre.
