Of Wilmington Delaware formerly of Washington, DC died on Thursday July 25, 2013 at his home in Wilmington.
Pat worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Cokesbury Village in Hockessin Delaware.
He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was an active member of VFW Post 5892 in Hockessin Delaware where he served as a Trustee.
While residing in Washington DC, Pat was a member of the District Yacht for 18 years, serving various positions on the board including Trustee, Measurer and Vice Commodore.
Pat is survived by his daughter Amy Smythe, two grandchildren Michael and Joshua of Elkton MD; two sisters, Molly Helm of Vienna VA and Judy Buckley of Clayton DE; three brothers, Thomas of Elk Mills MD, Kevin of Washington DC and Michael Driscoll of Vienna VA.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the MCCRERY & HARRA FUNERAL HOME, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilm., DE 19808 where a service to celebrates Pat's life will be held at 11 a.m.
