ROBERT BECK Obituary

ROBERT WAYNE BECK
Bob Beck passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 in Annapolis, MD, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Joan for 62 years and father to R. Wayne Beck (wife Susan) and Christopher Cass Beck (wife Karen), and seven grandchildren. Bob worked for the C&P Telephone Company for 33 years as a Systems Analyst. He and wife Joan lived in Clinton for 20 years where he was King Lion in the local Lions Club. Boating encouraged them to move to Annapolis where they spent the next 36 years. He was active in the Annapolis Power Squadron and enjoyed travel, genealogy and crosswords. It was a busy, fulfilling life - he lived it all and he loved it. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. at TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis. Inurnment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122 or the Anne Arundel County Library Foundation, 5 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401. Online condolences may be left for the family at: www.johnmtaylorfuneralhome.com
