William (Bill) F. Walters, of Vienna, VA, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014.
A native of Hays, KS, Mr. Walters served in the Navy in the South Pacific during WWII. In 1949, he began a long career with the Central Intelligence Agency where his postings included Japan, England, Cyprus, Pakistan, India and the Philippines. He retired in 1984. He is survived by his son, Lieutenant General Glenn Walters (USMC) and Gail (Hannah) Walters of Annandale, VA, his daughter Sharon Williams of Roanoke, VA; four sisters and one brother, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Barbara, and brothers Ernest, Harold, and Irving Walters. Internment at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be announced. Remembrances suggested to the United States Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment at Quantico. Online condolences and fond memories of Bill may be offered to the family at
