Ralph Klein Robinson, 88, of 2201 Koch's Lane, Quincy, died at 2:21 a.m. Thursday (May 1, 2014) in Blessing Hospital. He was born Jan. 28, 1926, in Higbee, Mo., a son of William Henry and Edna Louise Klein Robinson. On Aug. 10, 1952, he married JoAnn Kerr in Bowling Green, Mo. She survives. Mr. Robinson was a route salesman for Purity Bakery and retired in 1986. He was a member of the Curryville Baptist Church. He was a former member of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge. Mr. Robinson was an avid bass fisherman and loved flower gardening and working in the yard. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. In addition to his wife, survivors include twin sons, Robert J. (Belinda) and James D. (Tia) Robinson, both of Hannibal, Mo.; four nephews, Scott (Crystal) Robinson of Moberly, Mo., Greg (Nancy) Robinson of St. Louis, Mark Robinson of Cottonwoods Falls, Kan., and LeRoy (Amy) Kerr of Bowling Green; his niece, Susan Orf of Bowling Green; and a stepgrandson, Nathan Rusk of Nashville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donald William and Glenn Robert Robinson. SERVICES: 2 p.m. Monday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Gamm officiating.
