Mrs. Yan Zhang of Acton, MA, died peacefully Tues. Dec. 25th, 2012 on her 49th birthday at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after her battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Yue Han, and loving mother of Nicholas and Agnes Han. Born in Beijing, China, she was the daughter of the late Yufang Zhao, she is also survived by her father, Daizhao Zhang, and a sister, Wei Zhang, both of Beijing. In 1990 Yan immigrated to the United States to pursue higher education. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Master's degree in Biostatistics. After several successful years in the pharmaceutical industry, Yan dedicated her life to raising her children and is best remembered as a loving mother and wonderful wife.
