Wing G. Hum, 89, of Braintree passed away Jan. 8, 2013, at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of the late Gladys (Linscott); loving father of Robert Hum and his wife Annette of Plymouth, Kathleen Boyce and her husband Jack of Whitman, Karen Hum Cadegan and her husband Jack of North Quincy, Douglas Hum and Kristen Stuart of Weymouth; dear grandfather of Brayden Hum. Born in China, he came to Braintree when he was 14 years old. He was a World War II Army veteran and a lifelong member of the V.F.W. Wing had worked as an electrician at the General Dynamics Ship Yard in Quincy for over 40 years retiring in 1985. A funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 12, at 11 a.m. in the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Braintree. Visitation was in the funeral home prior to the service from 9-11 a.m. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery. Donations in his name may be made to the South Shore Humane Society, P.O.
