Richard Dickie Moore, 70, of E. Falmouth, formerly of Cedarville, died Oct. 4, 2013. He was the most beloved husband of Jane L. (Ryder) Moore. Born in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Lloyd F. and Dorothea (Cohen) Moore. He grew up in Duxbury and was a graduate of Duxbury High School. Dickie worked as a firefighter for the town of Plymouth for 26 years and was stationed at Engine #6. Dickie enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and traveling with his wife Jane to Maine. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Along with his wife, he is survived by four children, Todd L. Moore, Craig R. Moore of Plymouth, Catherine F. Parmenter of Bourne and Ryan M. Moore of Sidney, Maine; stepdaughter, Jacqueline OFlaherty of Dorchester; ten grandchildren, Nadine, Evan, Nicole, Thomas, Cody, Tanya, Tiana, Logan, Tristian, Bailey, Caysie, Janie, and Neil; great-grandfather of Joziah and Lyvia; brother of Barbara J. Turner of Dennis and Joyce L. Turner of Duxbury; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours were held Monday, Oct. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Chapman Cole Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Ave. (at Rte. 151), Mashpee, followed by a prayer service at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
