Catherine Ann (Moore) Waguespack, age 82, of Framingham, formerly of Bolton, TX & LA, died peacefully, Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham. She was born in Shamokin, PA, January 17, 1931, the daughter of Raymond and Rosa (Van der Hoven) Moore. She was the wife of 60 years to the late Leslie Waguespack, who died in 2009 and was pre-deceased by her siblings Gerald Moore, Elizabeth Moore Wisar, and Margaret Fissinger. Catherine attended Louisiana State University and earned bachelors and masters degrees in education at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and served for some twenty years as a kindergarten teacher at Cathedral-Carmel School in Lafayette, LA. Catherine and Leslie were long and faithful parishioners of St. John the Evangelist Cathedral Parish in Lafayette, Louisiana. Catherine lived for the last few years at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham, MA. She is survived by her son Dr. Leslie J. Waguespack, Jr. & his wife Blanche Iglinsky of Bolton; her grandchildren; Michael J. Waguespack of Marlboro, Patricia C. Waguespack of Lancaster, Peter J. Waguespack & his wife Meredith Saven of Maynard, & Paul J. Waguespack and his wife Jaclyn Thompson of Clinton; 5 great grandchildren, Bryan K. Dionne Jr., Emma C. Dionne both of Lancaster and Lily A., Nelson J. and Henry J. Waguespack of Maynard. She is survived by her siblings Mary Moore Duncan and her husband Jerome Duncan of Alexandria, LA, Rev. Edmund Moore of Monroe, LA, and Dr. Thomas Moore and his spouse Lynn of Fargo, ND. Relatives and friends are invited to a time of visitation in the Holy Family Chapel of St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 from 9 AM to 9:45 AM followed by her funeral Mass at 10 AM.
