Cynthia Calvin (Knecht) of Lexington passed away on February 27th, 2013 at the Lexington Health Care Center after an extended illness. Born in Los Angeles, California, She was 80 years old. Cynthia graduated from Beverly Hills High School and Pomona College in Claremont, CA, where she received her degree in Education. Cynthia was a Special Ed teacher at Lexington High School for 30 years. She was an advocate for Special Needs Children Member of the Mass Teachers Association. She is survived by her husband Charles N. Calvin. Her children, James N. and his wife Dar of Singapore, Keith C. and his wife Luciana of Chelmsford, Paige A. Calvin of Brookline and Jane L. Calvin and her husband Johnathan Bollen of Westford. Also survived by 7 loving grandchildren and her brother James H. Knecht. A celebration of life was held at the Follen Community Church Lexington on Sunday, March 3rd.
