Obituary Condolences

Warren John Wilson, formerly of Lexington, died suddenly on July 1, 2014. He was 67. Warrens two sons, Max Wilson of Kensington, Maryland, and Keith Wilson of Shaker Heights, Ohio, are graduates of Lexington High School. Warren was born to the late Gertrude and James Ronald Wilson on August 31, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York. Warren earned a BA in mathematics from Princeton University and a PhD in physics from Harvard University. He moved to Lexington to work for the MITRE Corporation, where he was instrumental in the development of lifesaving airplane routing and accident avoidance systems. Warren had a lifelong love of the outdoors. At the time of his death he was near Jan Mayen Island on a nature cruise to Svalbard in the Arctic Circle to experience some of the wildlife and geology of this dramatic part of the world. Memorial donations may be made to the Mass Audubon Society.
