Irving "Spike" Gordon, of Salem, entered into rest November 4, 2012 at the age of 87years. Beloved husband of Idarose (Silverman) Gordon. Devoted father of David Gordon and his wife Joan Parker of Washington, DC; Andrew Gordon and his wife Cecily Roberts of Baltimore, MD; Lilli Gordon of Newton; Scott Gordon and his wife Lynn of Manhattan, NY. Loving brother of the late Esther, Helen and Natalie. Cherished grandfather of Alexander, Charles, Nicholas, Rachel, Michael, Benjamin, Georgia and Graham. Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, Salem/Swampscott line on Monday (TODAY), November 5, 2012 at 9AM. Interment at Congregation Shirat Hayam, Beth El Section. Friends and family are welcome to gather immediately following interment at Hawthorne by the Sea, 153 Humphrey St, Swampscott.
