Wilhelmina "Willy" F. (Kirkwood) Angley, 74, a woman of deep spirit, wisdom, generosity, and bravery, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her children, Kelly AngleyDolloff, John H. Angley IV and wife Christine, and Adam C. Angley and wife Carrie. An amazing mother and grandmother, Willy lived for her family of three children and seven grandchildren. Other loves included the sun, the beach, delicious food, dear friends, dancing, and the New England Patriots. Willy was the first valedictorian and class president of Sacred Heart High School in Kingston and attended Ladycliff College, Mass. General School of Nursing, and Stonehill College. Guided by her entrepreneurial spirit, Willy was not afraid to bet the house, and she did. A survivor and shrewd businesswoman, Willy thrived in many different pursuits - from running a dental practice, restaurant ownership, retail and wholesale womans shoes, to bartending and floral design. A free spirited, positive life force, and fantastic listener, who treated all with respect, Willy believed that most could do anything, and she made you believe it too. Equally impressive was Willys gift for the moment that seemed to be continually filled with frequent and deep laughter. Visiting hours were held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139, in Marshfield, Sunday, July 14, 2013, from 2 to 6pm. Funeral service was at Brant Rock Union Chapel, 327 Ocean St., Brant Rock, Monday, July 15, 2013, at 4 p.m. Donations may be made in Willys memory to Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center at secure.massgeneral.org/cancer/. When I read about the passing of "Willy" today,it brought back so many memories(all good)of a dear friend I attended Sacred Heart High School with. We were only 17 students in our graduating class and we were all close and compatible. Many years have passed and I lost touch with those girls but I always held fond memories of them all.
Rest in peace Willy,it sounds like you had a full life with a very loving family.God bless you.
