John A. Jack Goodine, 73, of Bryantville died Monday, March 11, 2013, at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. Son of the late John and Theresa (McInerny) Goodine, he was born in Boston, May 29, 1939. Jack was a graduate of South Boston High School and later served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a Millwright with Union Local 1121 in Boston and was a member of Club X in East Bridgewater. Jack was an avid sports fan, enjoyed reading, working in the yard, Castle Island and going out to dinner. He loved being around people and most of all spending time with family. He was the father of Danielle Kailher of East Bridgewater and John Goodine of Yale, Mich.; brother of Justine Veno of South Boston, Margery Coyne of Florida and the late Daniel Goodine; grandfather of Michael, Jeni and Kayla; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours were held in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., at the corner of Rte. 14 and 58, in Hanson, Friday, March 15, from 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St., Rte. 14, in Hanson.
