Ernest A. Santos of Englewood, Fla., and Manomet, Mass., passed this life on August 16, after a long and courageous battle. He was 84 years old. Ernie was predeceased by his parents, Adelino and Mary (Furtado) Santos, and his sisters, Alice and Natalie. He is survived by his wife, Sandi; his children, Kim, Wendy and Linda, as well as Bill, Mike, Doug, Deb and Gini; his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many thanks and much love goes to his good friend, Ronny; and his son-in-law, Darryl. Ernie grew up in Plymouth and graduated with the Class of 1949. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the Boiler Makers Union 29, the American Legion and the Cold Spring Club. Ernie enjoyed spending time in Florida, playing golf, working in his garden, making puzzles and spending time with good friends, family and his special four-legged friends, Oscar, Ed and Lady.
