Stephen B. Weidner, 58, of Eddy St., Attleboro died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at home. He was born in Concord MA. A son of Patricia (Durgin) Goddard of Phoenix, Oregon and the late Thomas Weidner. Mr. Weidner has lived in Attleboro for over 25 years, coming from Plymouth. Stephen was a US Army Veteran, who was also very involved in Veterans activities. He was a member of the American Legion Post 20 and the VFW Gilbert Perry Post 115 of Attleboro. At the VFW Post, Mr. Weidner was on the committee for the POW/MIA. He was also on the membership committee, and on the Honor Guard/ Rifle Squad. Besides his mother he is survived by a son Brad Weidner of Attleboro, a daughter Lana Weidner of Westerly RI, 2 brothers James Jimmy Weidner of MA, Charles Chip Goddard of Oregon, 2 sisters Cheryl Cole of Houston Texas, Leah Goddard of Florida. Stephen was the grandfather of Brian, Adrian, Leah, Haidan. Mr. Weidner was also the boyfriend of Sharon Klopf, for many years, and he is also survived by her children Richard and his wife Renee Klopf, and his son Ronnie West, and Ronnies son Jordan West, a son Jared Klopf and a granddaughter Savannah, and a grandson Braedan, a daughter-in-law and a son in law Kimberly and her husband Robert Chace and their children Samantha, Theodore, Jamie and Justin, a daughter Yvette Klopf and her son Christo. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday May 10 2013, at 10:00am in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours and flowers are omitted.
