Donald Prince Hann, age 90, of Fort Myers, Florida and formerly of Walpole, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2014. He was born on August 22, 1923 in Boston, Massachusetts, the proud son of Hilda N. (Prince) and Odo F. Hann. He was married to the late Ruth Barbara Hann who sadly preceded him in death in 1997. Donald leaves to cherish his loving memory, his children Michael Hann (Joyce) of Blackstone, Massachusetts, Donald Hann (Deborah) of Alaska, Susan Hann of Walpole, Massachusetts, Deborah McDavitt of Fort Myers, Florida and Barbara Hann of Naples, Florida. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Jody, Alison, Sarah, Misty, Donald David, Brian, Sean, Kevin and Billy; 11 great-grandchildren; a multitude of extended family; special friends Whitetoes, Blackfeet, Tony and Thais and a number of others he was happy to call friends. A visitation will be conducted from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in the Chapel at Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, 3654 Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33916 (239) 694-4121. At the conclusion of the visitation, family and friends will travel in procession to Donald's final resting place at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72 (exit 205 east from I-75), Sarasota, Florida 34241, (941) 922-7200. As a veteran of World War II, Donald will receive full honors from the United States Navy at his committal service.
