Eleanor Mathers WALPOLE Eleanor "Ellie" (Charlantini) Mathers died on June 24th, 2013 surrounded by her children, Maurene of Walpole and Edward P. and his wife Kathy of Attleboro after an eight month battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. Survived by 2 sisters. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Born and raised in Needham before moving to Walpole. She enjoyed bowling and was the treasurer of the Bird Machine Bowling League for many years. She also enjoyed bingo and knitting and crocheting and selling her items at craft fairs in the fall. For many years she summered in East Wareham. She lived for her yearly trips to Las Vegas to visit with friends. She also liked trips to Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and Twin Rivers. Memorial donations in her name may be made to a hospice of your choice or a breast cancer research of your choice. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetary in Needham. |
