Edward J. Kramer, 75, of Weymouth, passed peacefully at home July 1, 2013. Born and raised in Boston, he had lived in Weymouth for over 40 years. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Glynn) Kramer for over 50 years. He is survived also by 7 children; sons Edward Kramer of Louisiana, John Kramer and his wife Raenette of Athol, Brian Kramer and his wife Susan of Weymouth, Max Kramer of Hull; daughters Margaret Kane and her husband Patrick of Plymouth, Merry Dalahmeh of Hingham and Beth Angeski and her husband James of Florida. Beloved grandfather of Lauren, Michelle, Nicholas, Emily, Philip, Pamela, William, Monica, Brian, Thomas, Charlotte and Grace. Great-grandfather to Reid. He also leaves behind his cherished dog Daisy. Edward worked for many years at the Kemper Insurance Company and later at Commerce Insurance Company. He served in the U.S Air Force from 1955-1959. He enjoyed boating and antique and classic cars. He had restored several cars and entered in car shows. Edward enjoyed traveling, mostly road trips around New England in his classic cars. He was a member of South Shore Country Club bowling league for several years. Edward was a fan of the Red Sox, the Bruins and car racing, He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and listening to his extensive jazz music collection. Visiting hours were on Sunday, July 7, from 3 - 7 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, North Weymouth, at 40 Sea Street (off Rte. .3A-Bicknell Sq.). Funeral service was celebrated on Monday, July 8, at 10 a.m. in McDonald Funeral Home. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
