RANDAL, Dan
1923 - 2013
Passed away on Sept 1st at the George Derby Veterans' Home in Burnaby, BC at the age of 90. He shared close to 40 years of marriage with his wife Elizabeth (Betty) and was predeceased by her in 1995. Also predeceased by his brothers; George (Irene) Randal, John, Steve (Phyllis), Paul (Mary) & Constantin Ranchuk; & his sisters; Theresa (Mark) Jennings, Mary (Ray) Janisse & Lena (Ken) Brian. Survived by his daughter Marlene (Milan Jurisevic), granddaughters Jen (Matt) Faulk and Laura Meutzner, great- grandchildren, Nicholas, Audrey & Emma, numerous nieces and nephews and sister-in- law Madeleine (John) Ranchuk. Danny was a true original and definitely had 9 lives! He proudly served in the RCAF during WWII, sold farm machinery in southern Ontario, owned Randal's Esso in Essex and Golden Triangle Transmission Service in both Kitchener and Prince George. He was a club manager, hotel owner, contractor and realtor in later years before retiring to the White Rock area. Services will be held in South Surrey at 1 pm on Monday, Sept. 16th at St Mark's Anglican Church, 12953 - 20th Ave. Last Post and reception to follow at Crescent Legion 240, 2643 128th St.
