LYNCH, Donald Thomas
Born in Dunwich Township on November 20, 1940. Died peacefully on August 14, 2014 in his 74th year surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband for 52 years to Mary (Somerville). Loving father of Robert (Jennifer), Leanne (Rick Spurr), Eileen (Jeff Topliffe) and Lisa (Leo Stabile). Special Dad to Tony Chau and Michelle Caron. Adored Popa to Jordan (Susana), Jessica (Joel Masse), Joshua, Nicole, Mitchell, Jake, Miranda, Megan, Kevin, Giada, Ashley and Ally. Great-grandpa to Lily and Blythe. Son of the late Phil and Mayme Lynch; son-in-law of the late Reg and Eileen Somerville. Cherished brother of the late Roy, Jack (Helen), Bill (Mary), Gene (Margie), Mary (Bill), Esther (late Wally), twin brother of Donna (Wayne), Leo (Marilyn), Betty (late Art) and Charlie (Marilyn). Brother-in-law to Donna (late Carl), Ken (Carol), Jim (Deb), Mike (Mary Alice), Sheila (Keith), Deb (Tim) and Wayne Helmer. Special lucky Uncle Donnie to Kathy and many other nieces and nephews. Donnie was a much loved and respected custodian for the GECDSB for 40 years. He shared a passion for sports with his kids, especially with Windsor Central Little League, being most remembered on the ball diamond as "Umpire Mr. Lynch." He loved his time as a Windsor Auxiliary Police Officer and he was affectionately known as the Mayor of Janette Avenue by his neighbours Rick and Patsy. He will be missed by his 9 a.m. Tim Horton's Gang, especially Mr. Caille. Visiting at
