LAPENSEE, Louie Edward
"Lest We Forget"
63 years. Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 6, 2012. Best friend and fiancé of Patricia McLay. Dear brother of Cheryl Hachey, Wilma Whitehurst, both of Windsor and Larry LaPensee of Sterling Heights, MI. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Denis & Geraldine LaPensee and his sisters, JoAnn Elschner (2011) and Lynda Orum (2009). Louie served with the Canadian Army from 1966 until receiving an Honourable Discharge in 1969. He has also served on the Board of Directors of The Downtown Mission, Windsor Housing Authority and was the Vice President of the South Windsor Optimist Club and a member of The Loyal Order of the Moose #1499, Windsor and the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #94. Special thanks to the Nursing Staff of 4 West at WRH Met. In keeping with Louie's wishes, a Private Family Gathering was held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Ave. (519) 254-3223, followed by cremation.
