Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2014, at the age of 83 years. Loving husband of 64 years to Mildred "Millie" (nee Gauthier). Dear father to Diane St. Amour (Al) and Linda Trella (John). Loving grandfather to Scott (Nicole) and Brad (Danielle) St. Amour and Craig (Christine), Darryl and Ryan (Rachel) Trella. Proud great-grandfather to Parker, Hayden, Jack, Tyler and Abigail St. Amour and Anna, Brady, Ava, Hailey and Olivia Trella. Son of the late Samuel and Emma Baillargeon. Cherished brother to Rita Graveline, Hermidas Baillargeon, Moise Baillargeon, Pauline LeBlanc and Edward (Marjorie) Baillargeon. Predeceased by his siblings Leona Janisse, Eugene Baillargeon and Florence Baillargeon. Brother-in-law to Corrine Heydon. Omer retired from General Motors Transmission Plant and was a member of the CAW Local #1973. The family would like to thank the staff of the Fifth Floor Transition Wing of MET Hospital - Ouellette Campus for their excellent care, compassion and support for our father and the family during his final days.
