PABLO, Santiago Sr. Col.
Peacefully on August 23, 2014 at 91 years of age. Cherished husband of Fortunata for 70 years. Adored father of Norma and husband Antonio Mamaril, Santiago Pablo Jr. and wife Zita, Helen Pablo Quigley, Pablo Pablo and wife Teresita, Luzviminda and husband Diosdado Tan, Elvira and husband Ramon Estrella, Maria Teresa and husband Irineo Domingo, Emmanuela and husband Andrew Laurie and Marilou Pablo-Shevchuk and David Shevchuk. Treasured Grandfather Daddy Ago of Allan, Trisha, Suzette, Christy, Holly, Cynthia, Robert, Christopher, Lauralyn, Paul and Jeffrey. Great- grandfather Daddy Ago of Maxwell, Noah, Gwenyth, Avery and Elle. He will be sadly missed by Eliseo (brother) and Anselma, Salud (sisters), niece Evelyn and his extended family and friends in Canada, United States and Philippines. He was a retired Colonel in the Philippine Air Force. He served in WWII and survivor of the Bataan Death March. He sacrificed his successful life in the Philippines for his family by moving to Canada in 1974 for the future of his children. Donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke foundation and The Brain Injury Prevention would be appreciated by the family. Special thank you to Dr. Dang, Dr. Yap, the staff of 8E, ICU, ER, WRH O.C. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 31 and Monday, September 1 at 3 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. with a Veteran Service under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee Monday at 4:00 p.m. and parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday, September 2nd leaving at 9:45 a.m. from
