Lynda McKeown Brown, May 7, 1939 - July 26, 2013.Lynda McKeown Brown went to be with her Lord on July 26, 2013.

Lynda was born in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas and attended the University of Texas where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Lynda's greatest joys were her family and friends. She truly loved watching her grandsons play sports and attended many games through the years. Lynda was a member of the Texas A&M College of Education Dean's Development Council, participated in Bible Studies and many other activities with her dear friends.

Lynda is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Kathryn McKeown, and her sister, Sharon Lundt. She is survived by her daughters; Karen Brown, Phyllis Brown Smith and husband Barry; grandsons Andrew, Adam, Aaron, and Alex; nieces and nephew Sherilyn Lundt Lewis, Allison Lundt, Trey Lundt and their families.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, July 30, at Northwest Bible Church, 5503 Fellowship Lane, Spring, Texas, 77379. Friends will be received following the service in the church youth building.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the , Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309; your local SPCA, or a . "For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." Psalm 91:11
