Bill passed one week before celebrating his 96th birthday on March 4th after a short illness. Born March 11, 1918, in Cincinnati, Ohio; married to Dotty Young Cutler for 72 years before her passing in 2009. He was a long time resident of Hudson, Florida before a 2010 move to The Woodlands and Conroe, TX.
He had many attributes, some stood out from others: serving in The Methodist Church in both Pittsburgh and Hudson, a 32nd degree Free Mason, a Shriner and over 50 years as a Rotarian. Working with the Barbados Lions Club and the Hudson Rotary, he oversaw over 500 wheelchair purchases for disabled Barbadian children. As a professional Bill was a successful lumber broker, well known throughout the industry. Up to age 93, he continued to work as an exporter of building materials to Barbados.
He leaves 2 sons, Willard M Cutler, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fl, and J. Richard Cutler of Willis, TX; daughter-in-laws, Mary and Barbara; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10am. Monday, March 24, 2014, at The First United Methodist Church of Conroe TX, 77304. If you desire to make a memorial donation, instead of flowers, consider a contribution to The Rotary of Hudson Education Fund: PO Box 5321, Hudson FL, 34674

I was so sad to hear this news. Mr. Cutler will always have a special place in my heart. I was lucky to enjoy him at The Conservatory. He was blessed to have such a wonderful family as well.

Dotty and Bill sat in the same pew at First United in Hudson for many years. We had the same folks every Sunday for years. Looked forward to visits and seeing his clocks. He enjoyed any and all sweets. Have been in touch since his move to TX. Will miss my pen pal and our short chats. He was happy to have family near by. He will be even happier now to be with his beloved, Dotty. My sympathy is with you all. He will be missed by many.
