Donald Robert "Bob" Osborne "Ozzie"

ZANESVILLE: Donald Robert "Bob" Osborne "Ozzie", 66 of Zanesville passed away suddenly at 5:06am Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Genesis Hospital Good Samaritan E.R.

He was born on November 21, 1947 in Zanesville, OH the son of Donald L. Osborne and Eleanor H. Teisinger Osborne.

Don gave the gift of life by being an organ donor. Ozzie was a Vietnam War Army Veteran, retired from Brockway Glass, an avid sports fan and Harley motorcycle rider. Besides riding his Harley he especially enjoyed watching his nieces, nephews and friends children in sporting events.

He is survived by his long time loving companion for over 20 years, Traci McCoid of the home; a brother, Rudy (Shelby) Osborne of Arkansas; two sisters, Fran Billingsley and Barbara (Dick) Littick both of Zanesville; several nieces and nephews including Ryan McCoid; his pet dogs, Nikki, Zoe and Bailey; and numerous friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and his step father, Andrew Titko.

No public visitation will be observed and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made in Ozzie's name to a special scholarship fund for youth athletics in care of Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union, 1917 Ridge Ave., Zanesville, OH 43701.

Bob was a little brother, a friend, an uncle and a great uncle. He will be missed so much by all of us, but now he's with his Mom and Dad and his friends that have gone before him! Rest in Peace.
