Robert Earl "Bob" Buckley

ZANESVILLE: Robert Earl "Bob" Buckley, 85 of Zanesville passed away April 16, 2012 at Emeritus at North Hills. He was born in New Lexington on March 28, 1926 a son of the late Maurice and Evelyn Townsend Buckley.

He served his country and protected our freedoms with his service to the United States Navy during WWII and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Bob owned and operated L.A. Emmert Heating and Cooling for many years and former owner of Buckley Refrigeration in New Lexington; member of A.C.C.O.; past President of Air Conditioning Contractors of Ohio; past member of the Rotary Club in Zanesville, Lions and Elks Clubs of New Lexington.

Bob is survived by his wife Eugenia May "Jean" Brien Buckley; two daughters Darlene (Keith) Kerr of Maryland and Donna (Ed) Middaugh of Zanesville; five grandchildren Kenneth Kerr, Kristina Behmardi, Jennifer Middaugh, Jessica Middaugh and Joyce Middaugh; three great grandchildren Natasha, Charles and Luke.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Friday April 20, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 W. MILITARY RD. ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday April 21, 2012 in the Snouffer Chapel. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
