AMHERST: Victoria Jane Koepp (nee: Owen), 59 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria following a lengthy illness.

She was born December 27, 1953 in Steubenville, Ohio. Victoria was raised in Brilliant, Ohio before moving to Amherst where she had made her home for the last 35 years.

She was employed at Supply Exchange for the Cleveland Coast Guard for eight years before retiring as an assistant manager. Victoria was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Amherst. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary with the Amherst Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #1142, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1662 and the American Legion Post #118 both of Amherst. Victoria loved cats and was a member of the Erie Shores Humane Society.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years Dale Frederick Koepp; her stepson and his wife Michael and Sydney Koepp of Birmingham; three grandsons; her mother June Owen (nee: Bertell); her sisters Pattie Gaddis and her husband John of Roseville, Catherine Kackley and her husband John of Warsaw and Debbie Petrozzi of Brilliant, Ohio; her brothers John K. Cramer, Sr. and his wife Sylvia, James L. Cramer, Sr., Thomas K. Cramer, Sr. and his wife Dale all of Zanesville, and Richard Owen and his wife LuAnn of Steubenville.

She was preceded in death by her infant children Owen and Melissa Mitchell; her birth mother Betty Cramer; and by her father "Bill" William Owen.

Friends may call Thursday, December 5, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Terrance Adamson, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Amherst, will officiate. Burial will follow at Brownhelm Cemetery, Brownhelm Township.
