On June 27, 2015, Frank Edward Alagna of Woodstock, beloved husband of Beverly Jean Alagna, devoted father of Alicia Holter and her husband Ray, and Gina Cullison and her husband Tim, loving grandfather of Reese and Dean Holter, and dear brother of Debbie Bates, Mary McArthur, David Alagna, and Paul Alagna. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville. Funeral liturgy will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Catholic Church, 10800 Old Court Rd., Woodstock. Interment in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gilchrist Hospice Care, 5537 Twin Knolls Rd., Suite 433, Columbia, MD 21045 or to the American Cancer Society, 1393 Progress Way, Suite 908, Sykesville, MD 21784.

Anderson, Elizabeth "Libby"  
Elizabeth ("Libby") Marie Murphy Anderson, age 93, passed away peacefully on June 30th, 2015. Libby was a resident at Brightview Assisted Living in Bel Air, MD. She was born in Roanoke, VA on February 26th, 1922. She was preceded in her death by her father, Edward Burrell Murphy and her mother, Kizzie Elmedo Qusenberry Murphy. She was married to Charles Edward Anderson from 1946 to 1985. Libby is survived by her three children: Dr. Charles E. Anderson, Jr. (Gail); Dr. Timothy P. Anderson (Kathy); and Judith (Anderson) O'Neill (Jeff); two grandchildren-Marcia (Anderson) Burns and Tricia (Anderson) Merritt; and, three great-grandchildren-Zoee and Asher Burns, and Bryce Merritt. Libby was an active church member at the Middle River Baptist Church and the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bel Air, MD. She was President of the PTA at Glenmar Elementary School and Middle River Junior High School, both in Middle River, MD. She was an active volunteer at both Middle River Baptist Church and Oak Grove Baptist Church, as well as Franklin Square Hospital, the Harford County Sheriffs Office, Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and Avondell Senior Living Center. Libby was a graduate of Andrew Lewis High School in Salem, VA. She also attended the National Business College, Roanoke, VA, Essex Community College and Harford Community College. She was an avid reader, painter, crafter and traveler. She traveled worldwide to China, India, Egypt, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, Russia and Africa. She also traveled to 48 of our 50 United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Libby will always be remembered for her kindness, compassion and strength of character. Friends may call at the Schimunek Funeral Home (610 W. MacPhail Rd; Bel Air, MD 21014) Tuesday, July 7th, 2 to 4 pm. A Celebration of her Life will be held immediately afterwards. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are suggested for the Oak Grove Baptist Church, 2106 Churchville Rd; Bel Air MD 21015

On June 24, 2015, LENORE E. ARMIGER, loving wife of the late Joseph Armiger, Sr.; devoted mother of Joseph Armiger, Jr., John Armiger and his wife Tina, and Michael Armiger and his wife Kathy; cherished grandmother of Jason, Jonathan, Justin, Jeremy, and Melissa; dear sister of Della, Sandy, Betty, and Irene. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Family and friends may call at the family owned AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory, 4414 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore on Monday at 11 AM. Interment will be held at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery on Thursday at 10 AM.

On June 24, 2015, Edythe Mary Asimakes, of Bel Air, MD, beloved wife of James G. Asimakes for 25 years; devoted mother of Theresa Taylor, Jessica Casey, Nancy Asimakes, and Maria DeLuca; loving grandmother of Anthony Taylor, Dylan and Colt Casey; dear sister of Mary Knauer, Patricia Kilroy, and Maureen Bagwell. Family and friends will honor Edythe's life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services - Parkville, 8800 Harford Rd. on Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM.
