HOLLAND, Leah C.  
Leah C. Holland of Towson MD (recently of Oak Crest, Parkville, MD) passed away peacefully on August 15, 2015, aged 90. She was predeceased by parents George and Minna Osborne, husband Howard E. Holland Jr. and sister Doris O. Barker. She is survived by daughter Margery Holland-Lamberger, granddaughters Karma Quinn and Marcella Bayer, six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was a homemaker and was active for many years with Calvary Baptist Church in Towson, MD. She enjoyed gardening, volunteer work, bird watching and travel. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, and will be dearly missed by family and friends. Service and Burial will be private.

Born in Baltimore on Dec 1, 1924, John went on to be with the Lord on Tues Aug 18th. The son of Joshua and Ada Denis Ireland, he is survived by his loving wife Mary, daughters Brenda and Ada, and many others. After graduating from Frederick Douglas HS, serving in the US Army, he worked at The Coca Cola Co. for 40 yrs. Viewing to be held 5pm on Thu 27th at March Funeral Home West, 4300 Wabash Ave. Final Viewing 11:30am -12pm followed by Homegoing Service at Noon on Fri Aug 28th. Interment following at Loudon Park Cemetery-Valor Hill, at 3620 Wilkens Ave.

Irving, Robert W.  
Robert Winchester Irving, 80, of Marietta, GA, passed away on August 17, 2015. He was born in Washington, D.C., a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Princeton University. Bob served as First Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He pursued a professional career in Banking at Maryland National Bank and Equitable Trust Company in Baltimore and retired from Barnett Bank as an Executive V.P. and Senior Credit Policy Officer in Florida. Additionally, he was President of the Neighborhood Housing Service, Inc. of Baltimore, President of the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association and Chairman of the American Bankers Association. Bob is survived by his wife, Mary, and his daughter, Susan Irving Taylor with her husband Terence of Georgetown, ME, and his son, Robert Benson Irving with his wife, Mary Catherine of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren, Rebecca and Rachel Taylor, Stephen, Christopher and Elizabeth Irving; and sisters, Katherine Krier, ID and Nancy Irving, WA. A memorial service will be held at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church on Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta, GA, on August 29, 2015 at 12:30 pm with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mt. Zion UMC Building Fund.

Israel, Richard  
Richard "Dick" Edson Israel, a former Maryland Assistant Attorney General and former Annapolis Alderman, died on July 20, 2015 in Annapolis, MD of Parkinson's Disease. Dick was a legal scholar of note and a problem-solver in the community. A kind man who devoted much of his life to the service of others, he will be deeply missed by many. Survivors include Maureen Lucas Seghieri, McShane Glover, Minor Carter, Geoffrey Mitchell, Regina Brady, Molly and Peter Smith. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Anne's Church on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 3:30 PM; a reception to follow in the Parish House at 199 Duke of Gloucester Street. Jenkins II, Raymond  
Raymond Jenkins II, 63, of Greensboro, MD passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015. He was born February 22, 1952 to Anna May Chassagne Jenkins and the late Raymond Jenkins. Raymond graduated from Dundalk High School (1970) and Towson University (1974). Ray taught middle school math in St. Michaels, MD for over 25 years to thousands of students who remembered him best by his signature belt buckle. He retired from Talbot County Public Schools in 1999. Ray had a second career as a Tire Mechanic/Salesman from 1985 -2014, working for Neaton's Tire Service, Carl King Tire, and Admiral Tire. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and would sometimes sing with the choir. Ray found great joy travelling throughout the United States and sharing his adventures with all who would listen. He is survived by his mother Anna Jenkins of Dundalk; wife Lauren Essick Jenkins of Greensboro; sons Raymond Jenkins III (Diane) of Dagsboro, DE and Daniel Jeremiah Jenkins (Rebekah) of Harrisonburg, VA; brother Jack L. Jenkins (Sharyn) of Dundalk, MD; four grandchildren: Kaitlyn A. Jenkins, Raymond Jenkins IV, Leah Greenfield, and Talia Robles; and a god-daughter Gabriella Martin. Ray is also survived by members of Lauren's family, Peggy Essick, Matthew Essick, Whittney Essick and Shwu-Lin Sheu. A memorial service for Raymond will be held on September 6 at 3:00 PM at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Greensboro, MD. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service. Ray had a great love and respect for his country and the armed forces.
