I called him Boris. He gave me his Wednesday tie when he retired from the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC. A bunch of us dressed like him for Halloween one year. He loved it! I missed him when he left NRL. I saw him a couple years ago for lunch with a couple other NRL retirees. I would send him e-mails once in a while "Boris, you there?" He'd reply "Yep." and that was it.
Thanks for the Tie Boris! Rest in Peace
