Aliyah Garcia Obituary
Age 18, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016. Aliyah enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, four wheeling, spending time with her family, especially her brother Markus and her nieces and nephews.
Aliyah is survived by her father, Paul Arellano; mother, Paulene Garcia and husband, Steven Chavez; siblings, Sharlene Garcia and husband, Joseph Moya, Theresa Garcia and husband, German Aguayo, Markus Chavez-Garcia, Nadya Ibarra and Anthony Chavez; grandparents, Theresa Arellano, Orlando Trujillo; great-great-grandmothers, Pauline Arellano and Angie Trujillo; and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Garcia Mortuary Chapel on the corner of 8th and Stover Ave. SW. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Journey City Church, 409 Edmon NE. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Rivera, "Strecc", Joseph Moya, German Aguayo, Leonard Mora, Eddie Aguilera. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Raul Garcia, Anthony Chavez, Abie Bellejos and Diego Ballejos.
