Luana Mansfield Obituary
Luana B. Mansfield ended a courageous battle with cancer on July 28th, 2017. She passed away peacefully in her home with loving family members and friends by her side, just 3 days shy of her 63rd birthday.
Luana is survived by her lifelong companion, Craig Mansfield; daughters Lindsay Sears and husband, Orrin Sears; Lauren Mansfield & husband, Luke Fraser; brother Salvatore Baragiola and wife, Lynn & their children, Sal and Erin; sister Michelle Earle of Sandwich, MA and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews & cousins. She is preceded in death by mother, Denise Sharpe; father, Ed Sharpe; brother Rick Sharpe & sister, Kathy Adamsey.
Luana had a vivid career as a realtor. She was well-known and loved in the Albuquerque market since the late seventies; her passions included residential, new home sales, property management, and was very talented in interior design. She also opened a consignment boutique, Deja Vu de Los Ranchos; it was her pride and joy. She made many memories and lasting friendships with her clients and customers. Luana was known for her iconic fashion and style, her class, and her love for all things animal print! Above all, Luana's most cherished rewards in life were her two girls, Lauren and Lindsay. The three share an inseparable bond that was experienced by many. Her girls remember her as a strong, courageous warrior who inspired them, loved unconditionally, and exhibited grace and kindness in everything she did.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 15th at 1:00 PM at Koinonia Church, 10405 Comanche NE. In honor of celebrating Luana, please wear your highest of heels, bright jewelry, and your classiest animal print for the service. In lieu of flowers or for donations, Luana named NMDog. org and Animal Humane Society of NM.

Rest in peace, Luana. I remember you from high school when we hung out with Pam Franchini and others. You were always sweet and beautiful and I hate that your life was cut short by that dreaded disease. You had many friends who loved you and you enjoyed a great life. You will be missed by many.

Luana is only out of sight in a physical way, but will always be in a pocket of my heart. A beautiful friend, a classy lady, a mighty warrior and a loving, caring, engaging spirit, always making others feel special, while never drawing attention to herself. Her sense of humor was always present, even on her most challenging days. Missing her today and always.

So saddened by the loss of such a beautiful and special person. Luana and I had many transactions in the 1980s when I was a newer Realtor. I always admired and was inspired by her positive attitude and grace when working on a transaction together. She was indeed respected throughout the Albuquerque Realtor Community. Holding on to the beautiful memories of the life, love and friendship I was blessed to have with Luana. She truly exhibited both internal and outer beauty. Her love for life and her girls was a blessing to watch. Her love was constant and unconditional. Her courage and grace under fire was an inspiration. Luana and her family were wonderful neighbors across the street on Trail Ridge many years ago. She would bring the girls over to swim on occasion. Her parents were good friends over the years, "Ed" and I worked together at KOAT, and we kept in touch through thick and thin. Luana was gracious, generous and just a nice person. God bless her family and may she rest in peace.
