Raymond Cloutier Obituary

Cloutier, Raymond L.



Raymond L. Cloutier passed with his family by his side on May 17, 2017. He was born in Lewiston, Maine on June 4, 1924. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Therese and daughter, Jacqueline. He is survived by his daughter, Constance C. Monarch and Jerry of Albuquerque, NM and son, Eugene Raymond Cloutier and Sandra of Pompano Beach, Florida. He was a terrific grandfather to six, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.

Mr. Cloutier served in WW2 as a radio operator in the US Army for the European Theater Operation. He landed on Utah Beach in Normandy, France and earned a Bronze Star for his bravery during the Battle of the Bulge. He participated in the liberation of the Nazi internment camp at Nordhausen. He was a resident of Lewiston, Maine, Pompano Beach, FL & Albuq, NM.

He was an avid lifelong baseball fan & enjoyed Isotopes games with his granddaughter Rachael. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Thunderbird Little League PO Box 3806 Abq, NM 87190.
