Eric Verbeke Obituary
Eric Verbeke, 48, dedicated Federal Agent and an Air force Sargeant Security Specialist, passed away April 15, 2015. Eric was known for this quote," I've heard there are troubles of more than one kind some come from ahead some come from behind. But I've bought a bat, I'm all ready you see! Now my problems are going to have problems with me! " Dr. Seuss.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Verbeke; his son, Augustine, and his grandchildren, Isaiah, Samantha, and Nevaeh. He is also survived by his parents, Albert and Judith Verbeke; and brother, Jeff Verbeke. He also leaves many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and a grandmother. Also touching Eric's life were Paul Belgardt and Harold Riggs.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3900 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87111. Followed by a funeral service immediately after at 6:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd Lutheran Church or Wounded Warriors.
